Last weekend, I had the chance to attend my second Les Mills Experience event this time in London and what an incredible day it was. After the buzz of Bournemouth back in September 2024, I was excited to see what London would bring. Safe to say, it surpassed every expectation.
The setting was epic: one huge warehouse space transformed into all things Combat, The main event? Body Combat 103 and it was unforgettable, over 600 of us packed into the space, eyes fixed on the stage where four world class presenters led us through a heart pounding, adrenaline fuelled workout.
The atmosphere was electric from the very start and as soon as the music kicked in, the room lit up with energy. It wasn’t just a workout, it was a shared experience of passion, strength, and community. Being that close to the presenters made it even more surreal, you could feel their energy, their encouragement, and their connection to the crowd. Body Combat 103 delivered everything we love about the programme, powerful tracks, explosive moves, and a sense of release that leaves you physically drained but emotionally lifted.
What made the experience even more special was sharing it with friends. There’s something about training alongside people you know, feeling the beat together, cheering each other on, and collapsing in sweaty satisfaction at the end. It brought back that sense of why we do this in the first place. The training, the discipline, the music, they all come together in moments like this.
Les Mills knows how to create not just a fitness event but a celebration of movement and mindset. London reminded me of the power of community in fitness. Whether you’re a regular instructor or someone who’s just found their rhythm, these events pull you in and make you feel like you’re part of something bigger.
I’m still buzzing from the energy and already looking forward to the next one. If you’ve never been to a Les Mills Experience event, make it a goal. You won’t regret it. Until then, back to training, teaching, and holding onto that incredible energy for as long as possible.
